War
Eden's three great powers existed in a state of relative peace and prosperity for nearly two millennia, a period referred to as The Golden Age by many. The dawn of the third millennium brought a drastic change however, The Empire of Disea suddenly began an all out invasion of neighboring member states of the Amstra Coalition. The Coalition's defenses collapsed quickly beneath the superior military might of Disea, and a plea was made to the Kingdom of Elan for support. Though initially hesitant Elan soon provided the requested support and Disea's advance was brought to a halt at the gates of Amstra's capital. The three nations became involved in a bloody stalemate, with all sides suffering heavy casualties. With moral low and supplies running low a desperate final assault was made by Elan's Knights of the Rose in an attempt to break the siege of Amstra. At some point during the ensuing carnage a device of incredible destructive power was detonated, leveling the capital and annihilating the three great armies and their leaders.
